Limits and billing

One plan at one price. The limits are generous and there so one account cannot slow the service for everyone; nothing is ever charged extra.

The plan

€39 a month, excl. VAT, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. EU consumers pay 25.5% Finnish VAT on top: €48.95 a month in total. The exact total is shown at checkout before you pay. A business in another EU country that gives a valid VAT number at checkout is reverse-charged instead. It renews until you cancel. Beta members keep this price for as long as their subscription continues without a break; if you cancel and subscribe again later, the price then on offer applies. If a renewal payment fails, access pauses until the card is updated, and your subscription and its price are kept.

Fair-use limits

AI work

A daily allowance that fits about 25 messages, around 10 of them with a backtest, and a weekly allowance of about 3 such days. Settings shows how much of each you have used, as a percentage.

Chat messages

500 a day, and 20 a minute

Backtests

200 a day

Robustness checks (/validate)

50 a day

Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. The weekly AI limit resets on Monday at 00:00 UTC. When a limit is reached, that feature pauses until it resets and says when that will be. Settings shows the share of your AI allowance used today and this week, as a percentage, and when each resets.

  • Every message sent to the chat counts as a chat message.
  • Each new or changed strategy that runs, including a pasted Pine script, counts as a backtest.
  • Each /validate counts as one robustness check.

We may adjust these limits; section 7 of the Terms says how.

What uses the AI allowance

The AI allowance counts the work of the AI model calls made for you:

  • writing a strategy from your description, and changing one you describe in words;
  • the assistant’s replies to your messages;
  • the rule-by-rule explanation written for each result while Auto-explain is on. It is off by default: an explanation is written only when you ask for one, unless you switch it on under the chat box.

The backtest itself uses none. /tweak and Run edited code run again without the AI rewriting the strategy, so apart from an automatic explanation they use none either.

Cancelling

Open Billing in the app’s sidebar and choose Manage subscription, payment method and invoices. Cancelling happens there, in Stripe’s billing portal. It takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.

Refunds and your right to withdraw

The first payment of each new subscription has a 14-day money-back guarantee: ask through the Support page within 14 days of paying, for any reason, and it is refunded in full.

Consumers in the EU and EEA also have the legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason. For those 14 days, Billing shows Withdraw from contract here. It asks you to confirm, ends the subscription, and sends a confirmation to your email. An email to support is a valid withdrawal too.

Because you asked at checkout for the service to start straight away, a withdrawal owes a proportionate amount for the days you had the service, and the rest is refunded within 14 days. The money-back guarantee on the first payment of each new subscription goes further. The full terms, with a model withdrawal form, are in section 15 of the Terms.
